Our campus is located just 20 miles West of Chico, CA – a college community known for its vibrant arts culture, world class outdoor recreation, and excellent health care facilities. WestHaven community tours may be scheduled by calling us Monday-Saturday 9AM and 4PM; or Sundays from 1PM to 4PM. We are residential homes for the dependent elderly where, along with our residents’ family and friends, we live and work together. Our buildings look and feel like “home”, and so does daily living. Our relational approach to care is unique and effective in building and maintaining a sense of belonging. All of our community spaces – living, dining, recreation, and outdoor porches and patios – are accessible to every member of the WestHaven family. We work every day to foster an atmosphere that is as homelike as possible. Small and intimate settings – with buildings that house as few as 5 residents while others house up to 30 persons – allows your loved one to build close and lasting relationships with their neighbors and their caregivers. Family and friends are as much a part of our extended family as our residents and staffs. Immediate family are welcome anytime – with no restrictive visiting hours to limit your time with your loved one.

WestHaven offers additional support services for elderly residents suffering from the debilitating effects of stroke, heart disease, respiratory ailments, general physical decline, cognitive impairments, memory loss, visions and hearing disabilities and much more By incorporating these services into a personalized care plan, WestHaven ensures that every resident receives the quality of care and attention they require to function at their highest level. Level Three Services – Extensive Helps 24/7 WestHaven is committed to meeting even the highest level of needs for our residents. Level three services reduce the need to consider relocation when either physical decline or mental function makes care more challenging.

Life enrichment activities encourage participation in engaging events, daily socialization and enjoyable games. Activities Care Companion (ACC) Activity Care Companions (ACCs) plan and execute daily activities that engage, encourage, and build relationships among our elderly and special needs communities. While everyone is first a caregiver our ACCs are uniquely charged with getting paid to play, too! Engagement We recognize that being engaged in community life is a special benefit of living at WestHaven Senior Living. This sense of belonging comes from participating in the activities and programs offered including daily exercise class, current events, expressive arts, ice cream socials and sharing mealtimes with other residents. Our caregivers encourage residents to get up and get going, to find joy and engagement each day. Care and Wellness Many residents first move to WestHaven Senior Living because they need help with personal care and medication services. Providing dignified and respectful care is at the core of everything we do, and beyond that we care about each resident’s overall wellness.
