If a resident can no longer safely assist with transfers even with two caregivers, we will evaluate them for the use of a Hoyer lift. This type of transfer requires significant time and expertise from two specially trained caregivers, and it represents one of the higher-level services we provide to ensure the safety and well-being of those who need it.
