Little Bitterroot Services Inc. (LBSI) has been a cornerstone in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities in Montana since 1974. LBSI provides numerous opportunities for disabled adults to integrate into the community by offering work, living spaces, and personal growth opportunities. They run several enterprises, allowing people with disabilities to gain self-sufficiency and engage with the community through meaningful work. These enterprises include fully-featured gyms, thrift stores, and discount groceries. Each is designed to afford those they serve an opportunity to both work and utilize services that promote community involvement. LBSI offers multiple housing options for those they serve, meeting a variety of personal and support needs. Little Bitterroot Services Inc. offers different residential options, including group homes and supported living apartments, to cater to various needs. These options include the Meany Group Home and Stanton Group Home, as well as supported living apartments with different configurations. Meany Group Home is an 8-bedroom residence with individual room decorations and a supportive atmosphere. Stanton Group Home is a 4-bedroom setting near a city park, surrounded by fruit trees, offering personalized room aesthetics. Supported Living Apartments provide eight individual units that include various configurations and accessibility features. Each setting includes staff support to assist with medical needs, transportation, and scheduling non-clinical activities.
