Greenbriar ensures that in case of evacuation, residents' safety will be prioritized with arrangements made with other facilities and transportation services. Lock-down procedures are also in place for different scenarios, allowing no one to enter or leave during such an event.

Led by a Registered Dietitian, Greenbriar's nutritional program caters to individual resident needs with homelike meal experiences and therapeutic diets. Menu options include 'Resident’s Choice' meals and special events like barbecues and cookouts. The service prides itself on nutritious, appetizing meals prepared in-house by skilled staff. Residents prefer dining in a communal setting, but also have the option to eat in their rooms. A buffet is available with variety, including a salad bar and homemade desserts, with additional resident-requested items. Bedtime snacks and alternative meal choices are provided for further personalization of the dining experience.
