We are equipped to accept residents who pose an elopement risk and residents who may exhibit physical aggression. Heavy care necessitates comprehensive assistance with the majority or all activities of daily living, encompassing intricate nursing requirements and/or challenges in behavioral management. Diabetic Care Diabetic residents need to manage their own care, which includes conducting blood sugar tests and administering insulin injections. While we can assist in monitoring blood sugar levels, it is not authorized to administer insulin injections. We are equipped to provide insulin injections and blood sugar testing, though it may not always be capable of providing sliding-scale therapy. Additionally, this community provides comprehensive diabetes care, including insulin injections and sliding-scale therapy. Incontinence Care Residents with incontinence should be capable of managing it independently. Our staff will provide reminders for residents to use the restroom. We offer care for those with bowel incontinence. Additionally, we are equipped to assist residents with bladder incontinence. Memory Care We provide bracelets that alert staff when a resident leaves the premises, ensuring their safety and preventing wandering. The memory care area is designed to secure and safeguard residents prone to wandering. We are equipped to accommodate residents with significant behavioral challenges. The memory care facility is specially constructed to serve individuals with Alzheimer's and dementia and is housed in a dedicated building for focused care. Non Ambulatory Care We offer single-person assisted transfers for residents requiring assistance moving from a bed to a wheelchair and two-person assisted transfers for those who need additional support. Furthermore, we are equipped with mechanical lifts for transfers, ensuring all residents receive the help they need for such movements.
