Eliza Bryant Village boasts a rich history that began with the establishment of the Cleveland Home for Aged Colored People. Over the years, the facility has undergone name changes, expansions, and relocations, always with the intention of better serving the senior community. Notable historical milestones include the transformation from a 19-bed facility in 1914 to a 175-bed nursing home post-expansion. Today, the Eliza Bryant Village includes the Inez Myers Senior Outreach Center, the Eliza Bryant Village Manor senior housing complex with 59 one-bedroom units, the Garden Estates with 44 one-bedroom garden-style housing units, and the Amasa B. Ford Lodge, a 45-unit apartment building offering independent housing for seniors. These advancements underscore the Village's commitment to providing a comfortable, secure, and familiar environment for its residents.

The Skilled Nursing Care and Therapy Renovation project, completed in 2009, introduced a glass-enclosed lounge for family socialization and recreational activities. Enhancements to the living spaces include new central bathing rooms, therapy suites, and activity lounges conducive to resident engagement and well-being. Furthermore, in collaboration with the Centers for Dialysis Care, Eliza Bryant Village opened a new dialysis center on-site in 2015, providing convenient and integrative medical services. Comprising approximately 100 talented and compassionate women, these Auxiliaries have made considerable contributions in terms of fundraising and providing leadership. They dedicate countless hours to service with the goal of enhancing the quality of life for seniors at the Village. The Senior Outreach & Adult Day Care Program, located within the Inez Myers Senior Outreach Center, further emphasizes the community's commitment to lifestyle enrichment. It provides not only transportation and nutritious meals but also a safe and nurturing environment where seniors can partake in diverse activities thoughtfully curated to meet their interests and needs.
