Chimes is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting individuals with differing abilities and behavioral health needs. Their mission is to empower these individuals to thrive through personalized care, innovative programs, and pathways to independence. Founded in 1947, it has grown from a small special education day school to a comprehensive network offering a range of services. Chimes operates in Maryland, Delaware, Virginia, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, North Carolina, and the District of Columbia, helping thousands of individuals each year to live empowered and fulfilling lives.
