Anita's Gardens is an award-winning assisted living community with locations in Grafton and Port Washington, Wisconsin. Family-owned and operated, the community was established in 2007, embodying a culture of caring and providing residents with a place they can truly call home. Inspired by Anita Benavides, a devoted caregiver and mother, Anita’s Gardens aims to enrich the aging experience by fostering active, engaged, and purposeful living. Operating with a mission to benefit not only the residents but their families, staff, and the broader community, Anita's Gardens offers a warm, supportive environment that has become a legacy of care. Celebrating the principles of its namesake, the community invites residents to live their lives to the fullest while receiving the support they need. Anita's Gardens consists of several locations, each designed to provide excellent care and a homelike ambiance for its residents. The original Port Washington location, a converted church rectory, overlooks downtown and is adjacent to Saint Mary's Church. The Grafton facility, established in 2014, features 20 beds and modern conveniences, while the newly opened Brookfield location offers a 62-bed facility divided into specialized neighborhoods for memory care and assisted living. Future expansion plans include a state-of-the-art facility in Saukville, anticipated to open by the end of 2025, enhancing the community’s capacity with about 57 beds. Each location provides a welcoming environment bolstered by a team committed to meeting residents' diverse needs through compassion and expertise.
