By November 2019, Alvarium expanded its services and merged with Brereton Manor in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. This community aims to provide structured and supportive services that allow residents to remain as independent as possible while having access to assistance when needed. Alvarium Personal Care operates in two locations: The Hawthorne Home in Reading, Pennsylvania, and Brereton Manor in Washington Boro, Pennsylvania. The community offers both private and shared rooms, allowing residents to bring their personal belongings for added comfort. Housekeeping services, including linen provisions and weekly cleaning, contribute to maintaining a clean and comfortable living environment. Hawthorne Home is conveniently located along a public transportation route, making it accessible for residents and visitors, while Brereton Manor is set amidst beautiful farmland, offering six country acres of scenic views and outdoor rest spaces.
