Adult Learning Systems-Lower Michigan Inc (ALS-LM) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing residential services for individuals with disabilities in Southeastern Michigan. With a focus on promoting independence, self-reliance, and community involvement, ALS-LM emphasizes continuous quality improvement and freedom from discrimination for the individuals they serve. Accredited by CARF International, they have received a maximum Three-Year Accreditation for their community housing, specifically for mental health services for adults. ALS-LM works closely with a network of community mental health organizations, including those in Livingston, Oakland, Macomb, Monroe, and Washtenaw counties. The community offers specialized residential services, designed to empower individuals to set their own goals and boundaries in a supportive, least restrictive environment.
