Brookside Senior Living, located in Pine River, features 15 beds and is ideal for outdoor enthusiasts as it is situated directly on the Paul Bunyan Trail and the Pine River. Farmside Senior Living in Backus is a renovated farmhouse with 13 beds, surrounded by giant oak trees, gardens, and barns. The homes are equipped with private rooms with bathrooms, a walk-in jetted tub, and spacious public areas. Outdoor parking is available for those residents who bring their vehicles. Pets, including farm animals at Farmside, are welcome, although they require pre-approval from management.
